Class 6B
Welcome to 6B!
Hello and welcome to our Year 6 class website!
This is going to be a fantastic year filled with exciting learning, new challenges and lots of opportunities to grow. Year 6 is a special time when you will build upon everything that you have learnt so far and prepare for the next big step – High School. We will be diving into some fantastic topics, exploring new skills and working together to become independent, confident learners.
One of the key elements of our year is the SATs, which are your end of primary school assessments. Don’t worry, we will work together throughout the year to ensure that you feel confident, well-prepared and ready to shine! Our focus will be upon learning, improving and doing our best, rather than just tests. Most importantly, our classroom is a place where everyone is valued, respected and encouraged to try their best. We will support each other, celebrate successes and learn from mistakes – because that’s how we grow!
Parents and carers, we will keep you updated on what is happening in class, so be sure to check back regularly for key dates, news and ways to support learning at home.
Let’s make this a fantastic year of learning, growth and success.
